Art of a Missionary & Son Auction

Image
Before we knew it, we were holding art exhibitions together, Dad and I, for the last few Missionary Art Auctions in aid of global missions. So why not reach the rest of the nations of the world in one lifetime? After reaching a 100 nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I have started to realize what my job is - to follow up the nations reached and go and build those spiritual cities with resources, support and new Godly Church structures. In order to reform the land, we first need to reform the church. In many African countries for instance, we often see a large majority of people serving God at church, yet the country is steeped in corruption and men build equally distorted church kingdoms behaving like chiefs with their congregations. There are of course many wonderful churches too that resemble Christ in a many membered body, but that is as rare as a road in Africa. When I asked apostle Andre in his capacity as a pioneer in African missions, what Africa really needed - he said t

Apostles Brothers and Sons on Stage

Image
The fact that we actually had apostles and apostles’ sons working in this production is quite interesting. Working through 2 Corinthians this term and creating a new subject manual for Miracle Bible College was actually part of my process as an actor. Every actor on stage was encouraged to write a short character biography for each role they played. Discovering more about the Saul - Paul transformation helped to plot the graph of my character and relate to the interplay between mentor and protĂ©gĂ©. Hilton is a wonderful actor on stage and his emotional intelligence and ability to react to different situations live really added to the whole production. Apostle Leigh Collins excelled with his dancer prophet wife Lynette – who admitted that it was the first time she danced on the show – made the whole story come to life with multiple art forms including dancing, mime and an African gum boot stomp routine! My own Dad is an apostle so I had no problem playing Silas over a decade ago.

Aje blogs live from Prisoners Dress rehearsal

Apostle Leigh and I had to decide last moment whether or not we are going to live stream the event - the jailbreak of the century. Security is high and tension is mounting and the jailor - played by Rudi Faurie - has obtained a realistic Beretta 9mm pistol, a great replica, that needs to be wrenched from his stuntman grip later on. Jailor (Rudi Faurie) arrests Silas (Hilton Pelser) Prophet Lynette Collins is celebrating her birthday on stage today. We have all benefitted from her warm ups that have helped me to keep up with some new choreography for the Prisoners Production 2014. Our camera crew is made up of teenagers trained in our Pelser Media Video Production Course this year, and their energy and ideas are an inspiration to me. They have already started setting up shots that we have never captured before. Apostle Andre Pelser wrote and produced the musical in the early 80's while in Australia. Many souls have been saved and set free and we believe that God will confirm

Prisoners Production: 2 Brothers Act Together

Image
One privilege of being part of a creative church is getting the chance to act with your friends and family. In Good News, my daughter Cherie and I shared the stage, now I get to play Apostle Paul with Hilton as Silas in “the Prisoners” a rock musical production written and directed by Dr Andre Pelser (Dad) and choreographed by Apostle Leigh and Prophet Lynette Collins. After MBC on Wednesdays we get stuck into rehearsals and Dad brings out his inner director! With years of experience on stage and film, we have learnt a great deal from Andre about delivering meaningful lines that seem to capture this move of God like: ‘’Well, let us look even further than what we see now, Silas. Let’s dream of other lands. Let our eyes scan distant horizons.’’ The Prisoners cry out: “There is now way out, no one can rescue me No matter how loud I shout My voice is just an echo of millions just like me…’’ While we have often mused about the thought of performing at a local prison for inmates

Study Methods for Kids

Image
Every time we take God's presence to Schools, we focus on something different. This time we spoke to them about the value of using study methods in conjunction with the Holy Spirit. We have been ministering in De Grendel since 1995 - that's 20 years of input. However we have also recognized the important role of local teachers as the sustainable components of any school ministry. Every 3 years there is a turnover of kids, so that the only way to really build something lasting is through relating to the needs and requests of the teacher in charge of spirituality. Thankfully we have had good favor and been allowed to minister to the children over the years. MBC 2014 is a good team of students from different nations - a real league of nations spiritually! With the help of outreach veterans Marco Meyer and Arthur Eiseb it is easy to martial the troops and set up a full sound and music rig ready to unleash the power of prophetic praise and worship. Teacher Chantal Pelser led th

The Word is a Person

Image
Please allow me to share a few minutes of your time to speak about the identifications of the Word of God. The secret of understanding God’s Will for your life is to realize that the Word of God is a Person, the Lord Jesus Christ. John wrote about the Word: John 1:1-4   “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” In Hebrews we read that the worlds were framed by the Word of God. The sad thing about the Word of God initially was that He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, yet the world did not know Him. This is still evident today as people discover more of God’s wonders in Creation without glorifying the Creator of the marvels we enjoy and learn to protect from generation to generation. We can identify with the Word of God because He was sent to experienc

Art with a Mission

Image
This is the 3rd consecutive Missionary Art Auction/ Exhibition that we have hosted at Harvester Reformational Church in The HUB Cafeteria that has been completely sold out! Praise the Lord! "The Art of Surf" a few years ago was a good start and creative an awareness of the link between our talents and the great commission Jesus gave - to make disciples of all nations. There is a team of apostolic people behind every successful Art Auction. When I walked into a gallery last month and told the curator about the sales of our Missionary Art, she asked for my details because any artist would love to have this kind of support. But there is more to it than good marketing. We really are a body of believers - one of my friends in church was actually bidding against himself because he wanted to contribute more to the Mission and ended up buying two of Apostle Andre's beautiful water colours! From my Dad's Sketches Brochure: "Apostle André and Prophet Nola Pelser, have p

Global Networking and Radio Astronomy By Apostle Aje Pelser, Director for Harvester International Ministries The Lord is speaking to me about synergy in this move of God and there are signs in the natural that speak of spiritual networking. Normal optical telescopes are limited on earth due to weather and pollution. Even the great Hubble Space Telescope struggles to see distant galaxies through stellar debris and dust. Dust speaks of flesh when we talk spiritually. Our flesh tends to hinder vision and clarity of revelation. But radio frequencies can be detected through dust by radio telescopes. When our spirits are tuned into God’s word and the greater Body of Christ, we can hear from God more clearly with an open Bible. The combined effect of many churches accurately hearing from God’s word with synergy, forms a strong signal far greater than any single revelation a person can derive from endless hours in prayer alone. That is the key for this move of God where we see a many memb
